How we keep tidbok safe

Plans with friends, families and neighbors should feel good. Here is what we do — and what you can do — to keep it that way.

Our safety practices

  • Report anything, anywhere

Events, invitations, pictures, posts, comments, messages and profiles all have a Report button. People who aren’t signed in can email support@tidbok.com with the link. The person you report is never told it was you.

  • A person reviews it within 24 hours

Our team looks at every report within 24 hours. We can remove content, suspend accounts and, for serious cases, involve the authorities. If an invitation is taken down, its pictures are deleted too.

  • Block and message controls

Block anyone from their profile or Settings → Blocked people: they can’t find you, see your posts or message you. Messages from people who aren’t your friends wait as requests you accept or decline, and you can choose “friends only”.

  • Text messages with permission

Hosts confirm they know and have permission to text each guest. Every text names the host, says how to opt out (reply STOP), and is never sent between 9 pm and 8 am. We don’t send marketing texts. See our text message terms.

  • Pictures stay private to the invitation

We remove hidden location data from every picture. We don’t scan pictures automatically — people review reports. Pictures are deleted when the event or account is deleted.

  • Children and families

tidbok isn’t directed to anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. Hosts can invite families by adding adult and child counts — we collect only the numbers, never children’s names or birthdays.
